Delivery Info

Delivery times will vary during the year. The best time to have your wood delivered is from the end of winter through to Christmas. From January through to May there can be up to a 4-6 week wait depending on demand. 

Days and times are booked in advance and you will be sent a text message reminder to a nominated phone number 48 hours prior to delivery.

There is free delivery for orders 4 metres and over. Smaller orders incur a $20 delivery fee. Minimum order for delivery is 2 metres.

We deliver to homes and businesses in Wanaka, Albert town, Hawea, Cardrona, Luggate, Tarras, Cromwell and surrounding areas.

Cancelation of orders

We understand that situations can change and there maybe a time where you need to cancel your order. If you need to do this we need at least 48 hours notice especially in our peak season from January through to May. If done before the 48 hour timeframe a full refund will be issued. After this time a 15% administration fee will be applied.

Courtesy Trailers/Pick up

We have several 2 metre trailers that are available to pick up. You can also bring in your own trailer, Ute or boot for loading. This will need to be arranged at busy times of the year so please email uppercutwanaka@xtra.co.nz or ring 034431070.

Payment Terms

Payment is due on the day of delivery and can be made by cash or direct debit.  Once your booking and delivery time is confirmed we will send through an invoice via email.

We know that payment for firewood in bulk can sometime be a struggle so if you are wanting to set up a payment plan for buying your firewood please check out our Laybuy Info. Payment will need to be made in full before delivery. Should your account become overdue, full Recovery costs will be added accordingly.

We are Winz accredited and also work with other community services such as Presbyterian Support Services and Family Works.
